For the 2020 season, the Penticton Tennis Club is holding three week-long Junior Summer Camps.
The camps are for youth aged 5-14 years, and are excellent opportunities for focused and comprehensive tennis training and skill development. Each camp day starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 2:30 p.m.
The response to these camps has been enormous! All three camps sold out in a matter of weeks.
The first Junior Camp kicked off this Monday, July 6, with over 20 attendees excited to play and learn from the seasoned coaching staff.
Campers are able to take a break from playing in the Okanagan heat as the group has lunch at a nearby beach, with players able to take a dip in the water to cool off.
Camp Coaches include a variety of experienced teachers, including International Tennis Professional Zach Laycock, who regularly teaches in Nashville and Las Vegas.
It should be mentioned that Zach kindly gave up his own time to spruce up the PTC Clubhhouse with a new coat of paint in advance of the first Junior Camp. Thanks, Zach!
The second and third Junior Camps run July 20-24 and August 10-14, respectively.
